ARE YOU A TRANSFORMATION ARCHITECT?
TO BE A TRANSFORMATION ARCHITECT IS TO EMBRACE CONTINUOUS LEARNING, COURAGEOUS INCLUSION, AND INNOVATIVE PROBLEM-SOLVING—EVEN WHEN IT CHALLENGES THE SYSTEMS YOU’RE NAVIGATING.
It means approaching your work with authenticity, empathy, and a commitment to elevating humanity in every interaction.
You might not use that language yet. But if you’ve ever felt both brilliant and boxed in at the same time…if you’ve questioned systems that didn’t quite make sense…if you’ve seen possibilities others overlooked… you might be a Transformation Architect.

THE PROBLEM ISN’T YOUR POTENTIAL.
My clients don’t lack capability, and they aren’t confused about their potential. They are navigating environments that weren’t designed to recognize or support it. They’re the ones carrying the vision, holding the complexity, and quietly asking, “Is it just me… or is something here not adding up?”
I KNOW THAT QUESTION WELL BECAUSE I’VE LIVED IT.
As a PhD-trained organizational behavior scholar, professor, and advisor, I’ve spent years studying leadership and systems. But my deepest insights didn't come from theory alone. They came from being in rooms where the metrics said one thing, but the decisions said another—where "fit" mattered more than facts, and where brilliance was questioned based on everything except performance.
THE SHIFT
I STOPPED ASKING, “WHAT’S WRONG WITH ME?”
AND STARTED ASKING, “WHAT IS THIS SYSTEM OPTIMIZING FOR?”
A DIFFERENT WAY TO BUILD.
THAT SINGLE QUESTION EXPANDED WHAT I BELIEVED WAS POSSIBLE.
Today, I help individuals and organizations do the same. My work blends academic rigor, lived experience, and real-time pattern recognition to uncover what’s actually happening beneath the surface.
I’m not talking about surface-level change or check-the-box solutions. When you work with me, you won’t get a rigid framework designed to oversimplify your reality. You’ll get a thoughtful, human-centered approach that honors your complexity. Whether we are navigating high-stakes leadership or rethinking organizational culture, we focus on real shifts in how people think, lead, and move.

THE MOMENT IT CLICKS.
THE RESULTS OF THIS WORK ARE TANGIBLE.
People reconnect with their voice. They see options they didn’t know they had. They begin to lead in ways that feel aligned, impactful, and sustainable.
Somewhere along the way, something clicks:
“Wait… I’m not stuck. I’ve been navigating a system that needed a new blueprint.”
That’s the moment the transformation begins. I’m here to help you recognize what is, and find the courage to explore what else is possible.
If that resonates, you’re not alone. You might already be a Transformation Architect. You just haven’t named it yet.
LET’S DESIGN WHAT’S NEXT

THE STRATEGY: REDEFINE YOUR RUBRIC
TRANSFORMATION ISN’T JUST A CONCEPT; IT’S A PRACTICE.
To help you move from surviving a system to architecting a life that actually works for you, I developed the R.O.C.K. ON Blueprint.
This transformative framework is built on my ACE Values—Authenticity, Courageous Inclusion, and Empowerment. It guides you through a complete cycle of reflection and action to shift from externally imposed standards to self-authored principles.
Reflect & Redefine the Rubric: Examine the external "shoulds" dictating your sense of worth.
Opportunity Recognition: Identify new possibilities that emerge when you release outdated standards.
Courageous Care & Inclusion: Embrace self-compassion as a non-negotiable part of success.
Keep On Keepin' On: Maintain persistence while honoring your new, human-centered principles.
Onward & Network: Move forward with purpose while building supportive connections.

TAKE YOUR FIRST TINY ACTION
Real change happens in small, consistent increments. The blueprint challenges you to identify one small, concrete step—taking 10 minutes or less—that you can complete within the next 72 hours to begin embodying your new guiding principle.
IF YOU’VE BEEN OPERATING UNDER RULES THAT NO LONGER FIT—THIS IS WHERE YOU START.
THE FOUNDATION: THE COZY REBELLION™
HOW DOES AN ORGANIZATIONAL BEHAVIOR SCHOLAR AND ADVISOR END UP DESIGNING HOODIES AND TAGLESS GRAPHIC TEES?

It started with a simple realization:
Comfort is a foundation.
Without it, we struggle to show up as our brilliant selves.
As a neurodivergent woman and a mother to two neurodivergent children, I navigate academia, boardrooms, and soccer practice while living at the intersection of high standards and high sensory needs.
And I saw the gap.
Professional, but physically draining.
Comfortable, but lacking cultural fluency.
Sensory-friendly, but not built for real life—or real growth spurts.
I stopped waiting for something better and built it.
I founded Petty Professor—and later BLKxND—as an extension of this work.
WHERE "PETTY" MEETS PURPOSE
PETTY PROFESSOR AND BLKXND ARE DESIGNED AS SENSORY-AWARE “ARMOR” FOR BRILLIANT PEOPLE NAVIGATING OVERWHELMING ENVIRONMENTS.
We call it the Petty Paradox:
You can be soft and strong.
Comfortable and professional.
Grounded and powerful—all at the same time.
Whether it’s a tee that reminds you there is No Shade, No Shame in your journey, or a hoodie that feels like a tagless hug, this work is about protecting your peace while you command the room.
"We can wear a blazer to command a room, but wear a tagless tee underneath to protect our peace."
